THE DAY!!! (SLV)

WOW wat a splendid day it is! 10th of june. The day we had our SlV, the day we had our class bbq, the day we thanked our teachers!

And so the day began...

Some of us(chang hong, hui jing, jason, krystal, yi yong, patrick, wilson, weizhen, yunhan and minyang-in order of arrival time edited) met in the morning at around 11 to go makan lunch together. So we we went to the KFC beside the Metta Home. That is a very special KFC cause it is run by handicapped people. Then jason wanted to order 2pcs chicken but wanted 1 drumstick and 1 breast meat. And he had no idea how to say it. In the end, i showed him to point to his chest and thighs. It was super funny but the thing is the person understood!! Oh ya, and patrick's drink fell onto the floor. -__- Nothing much happened after that. Just the usual talk-cock-session until the rest came.

The moment we stepped out of the KFC, we felt raindrops. Everybody was like totally sian diao cause we planned so much for this and it was going to rain. Hai... But anyway we just carried on to meet the Metta people. Ok let me try to describe them. They are actually not what people think of them as. They are all rather normal people with only some handicapped learning abilites. Yup then the class was still not very used to them as we were meeting for the 1st time. But luckily jian wei prepared beforehand and pair everyone up with one of them.

Then on the bus, guess what? They said i'm handsome! Haha. so happy. Ya coming back, everyone was in a very high mood to go to zoo! Well who is not? we are going to the zoo, zoo, zoo. how about you, you, you?

When we reached there, the ice was still not broken yet. So we tried to talkto them by asking what was on the pictures and how to spell it. Then we realise we dunno how to spell rhinoceros. In the end, it was Ciyi who gt it right. Wa so malu.

When we were inside the zoo, all of us like super high to see animals! Brought the clients(that is what the personels called them) and showed them what is what animal. So basically it was bringing them around to look at the different animals. We actually wanted to catch the animal show which was at 2.30 so we when to check at 1.50. Guess what? The show is full-housed already. Wa all super kiasu sia. Haha. Having no choice, we walked around somemore. Didnt knew the zoo was so feaking big. Walk until all of us super tired. So we had breaks here and there to rest our tired legs. Apparently, jason bought $50 worth of tibits so we kept eating at the breaks. Must be he wanted to eat so bought so much.

Few interesting things that happened:
1) Huimin is very popular among the clients. All of them choing for her.
2) Alyssa's butt got smacked but one of the clients.
3) The chimpanzee wanted jason's tibits
4) The clients agreed that i was more handsome than jason. Yi yong can prove it.
5) All of us got super tired after 3.5hrs of walking and we all headed back for "home"!!!

And so our SLV is finally over, leaving behind joyous faces and delighted mood! I think we had made their day by bringing them to the zoo and had certainly impacted them in one way or another! After all the hard work of discussing about it and washing of cars to all the planning(special thanks to weizhen, krystal and liukun), we finally ended our SLV! Great job everyone!!! But of course, let us not forget our SLV coordinator-JIAN WEI!!! Woohoo. This guy really rock sia cause he did alot of "backstage"job like contacting the personels and stuff! 3 cheers to jian wei!!
