EXAMS OVER!!!

This post will be red because it is a happy occasion to celebrate! After all the hard work we had put in the WHOLE of june holidays, this gruesome midyear exam(which is only 20% of promos) is OVER!

It wont matter now what our results are when it comes out so long as we had did our best. So go out there and have fun! Go celebrate! Go siao! Like this:

Oh! Today's movie WANTED was good! ONly that it has alot of f*** word. More importantly is that when you go out with your group of classmates, watever you do also fun. super no link. Ohya, we got diao by some stranger while trying to take photo because we were making to much noise. haha. N minyang kanna scolded by the cinema personnel. He was about to take when the person tap on his shoulders. Then he didnt cared him and went on to press the button! Haha.

And sorry to spoil the mood, a kind reminder that the promos is actually only 2 months away. YES, only two months away...

8) Bring along a mirror. May aid in copying answers from the person behind you.
9) Sneek into vjc to get hold of a copy of exam papers.

Letter from India

My dear Jagjit,

I am in a well here and hoping you are also in a well there. I'm writing this letter slowly, because I know you cannot read fast.

We are not living where we did when you left home. Your dad read in the newspaper that most accidents happen 20 miles from home, so we moved 20 miles. I am not able to send the address, as the last Sardar who stayed here took the house numbers with them for their new house so they would not have to change their address. Hopefully by next week we will be able to take our earlier address plate here, and that our address will remain same too.

This place is really nice. It even has a washing machine, situated right above the toilet. But I'm not sure it works too well. Last week I put in 3 shirts, pulled the chain, and haven't seen them since. The weather here isn't too bad. It rained only twice last week. The first time it rained for 3 days and second time for 4 days. The coat you wanted me to send you, your Aunt said it would be a little too heavy to send in the mail with all the metal buttons, so we cut them off and put them in the pocket.

Your father has another job. He has 500 men under him. He is cutting the grass at the cemetery.

By the way, I took Bahu to our club's poolside. The manager is Badmash. He told her that two piece swimming suit is not allowed in his club. We were confused as to which piece we should remove? Helloo people! While you all are studying for MYEs, there must always be a time to relax right! Hahaha here's something cute/funny/lame/interesting/whatever you call it that I've found on the net. Hahaha take a short restttt and readdd haha. Dont blame me if its not funny hahaha :D

There was this girl, she was so stupid that......

~ she took a ruler to bed to see how long she slept.
~ she asked for a price check at the Dollar Store.
~ she studied for a blood test.

~ when she heard that 90% of all crimes occur around the home, she moved.
~ she missed the 44 bus, she took the 22 bus twice instead.
~ when she took you to the airport and saw a sign that said 'Airport Left' she turned around and went home

NYEC

Due to popular demands (actually two only =.=), so here’s what happened today for people who didn’t go for this ‘super fun’ cip.

We were like supposed to meet at hougang at six in the morning =.= and the person who was always the earliest, was late for once. Haha. 'dont step on the grass!'
Were discussing about how to celebrate jianxiang’s birthday before the event started. In the end, he was not even coming to that pavilion. Some clever soul, don’t remember who, suggested that we take a video of us singing birthday song before eating the cake by ourselves.

Schools of groups that we were attached to:
Krystal : RI
Liukun : CHS
Yunhan, Huimin, Huijing, Daniel : ZHS
Weizhen : RV
Kaye : Bedok South
Jason : SPH
Changhong : CHIJ HI ( it’s a mixed school)

Minyang and jianxiang were station masters.

The whole amazing race was super crap and not amazing at all. Its was just following the groups around. We had to run with them and not eat lunch because they didn’t want to. My group was the best. They ran without waiting for me and didn’t eat lunch. The best part was they didn’t even realize that I fell down while trying to catch up with them =.= my jeans was torn! But what to expect from that school. Haha, no offence. If you know which school I was referring to, the cheers they did were abit -.-

FASTFORWARD.
(I think no one will be interesting about the race itself)

Yunhan’s group was the second to reach hougang and was fourth overall.
Krystal’s group was second overall.
As nice people, most of us bought stuffs for our groups.
When the event ended, vj did vj cheers(: (and attracted many people’s attention)
Obviously, vj will confirm be the first school to start cheering. & as expected, the other schools followed too. There was this group of secondary school students who was super interested in learning the PUMP IT UP cheer and kept asking vj people to teach them.
We went to bomb TJ then eat up their bomb after waiting for them to bomb back. The spastic one’s idea to zhao immediately after we ‘ate up’ their bomb.
Dinner at pepper lunch, were discussing about the routes and our groups before going to the arcade to huiwei tongnian. FUN FUN FUN :D
someone just threw a basketball and nearly hit herself in the face.
then we went to the ‘playground’ where minyang became dizzy after the spinning. ( I purposely included so that 10years later, you will remember your revenge. Haha.)

guess everyone enjoyed themselves today, especially the later half.

& now my task is over.

THE DAY ( BBQ)

Before you read any further, pls read the below post 1st cos this is e continued version of the post below.

After the SLV, we got ourselves prepared for the class BBQ cum thank-the-teachers cum celebrate some birthdays! But thanks to wenyi, our food was settled! However, there wasnt any drinks so some of us went to PP to buy(we met our dear shuan on the way out). In the end, we ended up buying Hoochs and barcardys with some normal drinks. Then we tricked Minyang into taking cab so that we could go buy his cake for him and Kaye and Hui jing who was sadly not there.

So at the bbq, we were playing frisbee and kicked soccer. Wa Mr Ng(or should we call him jeffery now?) and jian wei were superb! Think they should go join soccer team or wat. Not to forget wenyi and yunhan who were sadly barbequeing for us. Thank you! Yup so in the end, some of the guys felt very bad and took over the job. Wenyi still need to be "pulled" away from her job. Then we had minyang tricked away from the bbq pit to buy ice so we could prepare for the REVENGE! It worked sweetly and got the entire slice on his face. Woots! Had the usual talking session and played some games like polar bear and I've never. Knew more about our classmates through these interactions. Then Jeffery and Felicia were super nice cause they walked all the way to the shops to buy us "Ben n Jerry's"! Of course we prepared our cards for them. The reps gave the cards to the respective teachers an dminyang was super funnny cause he was like proposing to Ms Tan! Ms Cai, Ms Tan and yunhan left earlier and left the rest of us there talking crap again! Then as we were talking, all of a sudden the wind became superb big! It was super refreshing with all that wind blowing at us. All of us got super high about the wind. edited/And the entire box of cake that wsa remaining got blew away by the gigantic wind! But what came after the wind was the rain!!! We all ran like mad to get away from the rain. It was a dam cool experience with the rain chasing behind us. Finally got into the underpass where we all parted and called it a day!

It was a super enriching day for all of us after the SLV and BBQ! We learnt many things, see a different world from ours, got to know each other better... I think we should have more of these kind of outings!

Anw, from jian xiang, pls help him in his odac shirt thing cause they need 200 people. You will be able to go onto TV also!! So pls contact him if you can make it ok? Yup ty!

THE DAY!!! (SLV)

WOW wat a splendid day it is! 10th of june. The day we had our SlV, the day we had our class bbq, the day we thanked our teachers!

And so the day began...

Some of us(chang hong, hui jing, jason, krystal, yi yong, patrick, wilson, weizhen, yunhan and minyang-in order of arrival time edited) met in the morning at around 11 to go makan lunch together. So we we went to the KFC beside the Metta Home. That is a very special KFC cause it is run by handicapped people. Then jason wanted to order 2pcs chicken but wanted 1 drumstick and 1 breast meat. And he had no idea how to say it. In the end, i showed him to point to his chest and thighs. It was super funny but the thing is the person understood!! Oh ya, and patrick's drink fell onto the floor. -__- Nothing much happened after that. Just the usual talk-cock-session until the rest came.

The moment we stepped out of the KFC, we felt raindrops. Everybody was like totally sian diao cause we planned so much for this and it was going to rain. Hai... But anyway we just carried on to meet the Metta people. Ok let me try to describe them. They are actually not what people think of them as. They are all rather normal people with only some handicapped learning abilites. Yup then the class was still not very used to them as we were meeting for the 1st time. But luckily jian wei prepared beforehand and pair everyone up with one of them.

Then on the bus, guess what? They said i'm handsome! Haha. so happy. Ya coming back, everyone was in a very high mood to go to zoo! Well who is not? we are going to the zoo, zoo, zoo. how about you, you, you?

When we reached there, the ice was still not broken yet. So we tried to talkto them by asking what was on the pictures and how to spell it. Then we realise we dunno how to spell rhinoceros. In the end, it was Ciyi who gt it right. Wa so malu.

When we were inside the zoo, all of us like super high to see animals! Brought the clients(that is what the personels called them) and showed them what is what animal. So basically it was bringing them around to look at the different animals. We actually wanted to catch the animal show which was at 2.30 so we when to check at 1.50. Guess what? The show is full-housed already. Wa all super kiasu sia. Haha. Having no choice, we walked around somemore. Didnt knew the zoo was so feaking big. Walk until all of us super tired. So we had breaks here and there to rest our tired legs. Apparently, jason bought $50 worth of tibits so we kept eating at the breaks. Must be he wanted to eat so bought so much.

Few interesting things that happened:
1) Huimin is very popular among the clients. All of them choing for her.
2) Alyssa's butt got smacked but one of the clients.
3) The chimpanzee wanted jason's tibits
4) The clients agreed that i was more handsome than jason. Yi yong can prove it.
5) All of us got super tired after 3.5hrs of walking and we all headed back for "home"!!!

And so our SLV is finally over, leaving behind joyous faces and delighted mood! I think we had made their day by bringing them to the zoo and had certainly impacted them in one way or another! After all the hard work of discussing about it and washing of cars to all the planning(special thanks to weizhen, krystal and liukun), we finally ended our SLV! Great job everyone!!! But of course, let us not forget our SLV coordinator-JIAN WEI!!! Woohoo. This guy really rock sia cause he did alot of "backstage"job like contacting the personels and stuff! 3 cheers to jian wei!!

Some Filming thingy....

Hey Guys, Might as well just type it here..

Anyway, I need you guys' help. As u Know, ODAC has partook [partaken*. courtesy of Yi Yong! :D] in this Channel 8 TV show called the Record Challenge. Im sure You've seen me on TV><. So this time, the challenge is called T-shirt Formation or T-shirt Mosaic. In this challenge, we would need to summon 200 ppl. We are given a Subway BMT pic, and we are supposed to enlarge it by painting on 200 shirts, and allowing 200 ppl to wear it, so that when viewed from afar, U can hopefully see the enlarged image of the Sandwich.. get it?

So each of the ODACers are supposed to get like 5-7 frens to help Wear the shirts on the Testing out day (16th june) and on the actual day (18th june) when the judges will come and judge our enlarged picture. If can, I also need 1-2 of u guys to help Paint the shirts on 10th and 11th June, tues wed. During this time, Mediacorp ppl will be coming to Film us. So ya... most importantly i just need 5-7 (or maybe more) to help wear the Shirts on the day itself.

erm... Come on guys, appearing on TV will bring you Fame >< hehehe.. If u wanna participate, please tell me hor... And if U join, dun last min back out hor. If so, I smack you ah... Just kidding..Ok..

And one more thing, Mug Hard Guys!~ Cus My Birthday is Coming... ._. (no link)

10th of June. THE DAY

As you all know 10th of june is our slv and we are going to the zoo!

Things to take note:
1) Everyone is to meet at Metta at 12.15. Bus leave there at 12.30.
2) For girls, no shorts or miniskirts. This is to protect yourrselves







3) Carry light as we will be walking around the zoo
4) Rest well and drink lots of water the night before so as not to get dehydrated

Other than that, we are having our class bbq after the slv. There is a bus bringing us from metta back to vjc so no worries about that. For the food, wenyi will settle so when we get there, there will be food. But it is bbq based so still need to cook la.
